BANGKOK, Thailand – The Aviagen® Indian River® team was excited to spend time with employees from their valued distributor, Sajo Won, at the Sajo office in Jeonju City, South Korea, on Sept. 12 -13.
In the spirit of “Breeding Success Together,” Aviagen organized a tailored seminar to provide the latest practical advice on breeder and broiler management, specifically designed to meet the unique needs of Sajo Won. Prior to the seminar, the Aviagen team visited Sajo Won's Grandparent (GP) and broiler farms to offer support and assess field conditions, helping to shape the seminar to address real-time challenges.
The Aviagen team, including Dr. Daniel Gomes, Brand Manager for Indian River; Michael Chau, Technical Services Manager; Dr. Jorge Villa, Regional Technical Veterinarian; Bernard Green, Ventilation Technical Service Manager; and Dr. Kim Byoungyoon, Technical Services Manager, led a comprehensive two-day agenda.
Their goal was to provide insights that would help Sajo Won reduce costs, boost efficiencies, and enhance the productivity, health, and welfare of their GP and broiler chickens.
On the first day, the focus was on maximizing the performance of Indian River breeders, with 16 attendees participating in lively discussions. The second day shifted to broiler management strategies, with 21 participants joining the conversation. Both sessions fostered a collaborative, interactive environment for sharing ideas.
Do-Wook Go, Sajo Won Advisor, expressed his appreciation, saying, “The seminar provided valuable insights to improve the performance and management of our farms. We look forward to continuing our strong cooperation with Aviagen and benefiting from future knowledge exchanges. This event also helped to elevate the Indian River brand in Korea, and we thank Aviagen for their efforts.”
“Aviagen values our distributors in South Korea and throughout the region, seeing them as a vital extension of our team,” said Dominic Elfick, Marketing Manager, Aviagen Asia Pacific. “The seminar with Sajo was an excellent opportunity to share the latest management practices that can benefit their operations, while also learning about their unique challenges. We look forward to our continued collaboration with this valued distributor.”
