CAMPINAS, Brazil – The Aviagen^® South America Except Brazil (SAEB) Technical Services team was pleased to meet with valued Ross^® 308 AP Grandparent (GP) customer Agrosuper in October. During two events in Chile, the Aviagen team welcomed 80 Agrosuper farm employees. The ongoing goal of Aviagen and Agrosuper is to strengthen the health, welfare, efficiency and performance of Ross 308 AP broilers through innovative and effective management practices.

With this goal in mind, Marcus Briganó, Aviagen Technical Services Manager for SAEB and Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean (CAME), shared his knowledge on housing ventilation that is best for birds in the first 14 days, while Technical Services Manager Santiago Lovera spoke about excellent management practices in general during this time in a bird’s life. Aviagen Technical Support Manager for Latin America, Mario Sergio Assayag gave insight into a topic that is gaining in importance throughout the Latin American industry: antibiotic free broiler management.

Head of Technical Services for SAEB Osvaldo Bolinaga commented on the close collaboration between Aviagen and Agrosuper. “We started supplying Agrosuper with Ross GP birds in January 2021, and since then they have expanded to both GP and PS birds. With this meeting, we are excited to offer them the best and latest advice to optimize their results with Ross 308 AP broilers.”
