CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen® Colombia marked its 5th anniversary on Oct. 16 in a meaningful way – by sharing knowledge and expertise with its valued customers and reaffirming its commitment to their success through the spirit of “Breeding Success Together.” The event, called “Aviagen: Ready for the Future,” was held in Bogotá and brought together nearly 85 participants, including Ross® 308 AP customers and staff.
The anniversary event focused on Aviagen’s ongoing investments in innovation and facilities throughout Latin America, aimed at strengthening local producers' ability to provide nutritious food to their communities, as well as the company’s commitment to supply quality Parent Stock (PS) to customers. Discussions also highlighted the positive impact of animal welfare and sustainability on chick quality, along with strategies for continually improving bird health.
Ongoing Investment to strengthen customer success
Aviagen Colombia was established in 2019 as part of a strategic expansion to enhance customer support and ensure a reliable supply of quality breeding stock to meet the growing consumer demand for chicken meat in Colombia, Latin America, and beyond.
“Aviagen Latin America is on a journey of growth and success, thanks to the dedication of our customers who provide their communities with nutritious, sustainable chicken meat – an increasingly popular choice among Latin American families,” said Ivan Lauandos, President of Aviagen Latin America. “We are committed to ongoing investments that ensure a stable supply and strengthen our service to them.”
“Colombia is a leader in poultry production across Latin America and serves as a model of sustainable development within the sector,” added Devinson Puentes, General Manager of Aviagen Colombia. “The success of this sector is driven by the hard work and dedication of our customers.
