CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen® Latin America proudly took part in the 11th Annual Conference organized by Granja Avícola La Blanca – Pollos Pechugón, a valued customer of Aviagen and producer of Ross® 308 AP chickens in Paraguay. On Nov. 21, Aviagen experts met with over 160 attendees, including integrated farm owners, farmers, the company's management team, and poultry specialists. Together, they engaged in dynamic discussions centered on ideas and innovations aimed at optimizing the performance and welfare of Ross 308 AP flocks.
Santiago Lovera, Aviagen's Technical Services Manager for South America except Brazil (SAEB), delivered insightful best practices to ensure the optimal start to life for Ross chicks. Meanwhile, Marcus Briganó, Aviagen's Technical Services Manager for SAEB and Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean (CAME), demonstrated how to establish excellent bird welfare conditions in environmentally controlled farms, offering comprehensive guidance on factors like temperature, ventilation, and other essential requirements. Additionally, Rodrigo D'Amen, Aviagen's Technical Services Manager for SAEB, stressed the vital role of biosecurity in preventing avian influenza and other poultry illnesses.
Granja Avícola La Blanca hosts this annual event for poultry producers across Paraguay, offering beneficial sessions and inviting leading industry poultry equipment vendors to showcase their products.
