CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen® Latin America's sales and customer service teams welcomed customers and visitors to the International Animal Protein Show (SIAVS 2024) from Aug. 6-8 at the Anhembi District in São Paulo. As Brazil's leading poultry, pork, and animal protein trade show, SIAVS is a key event for Aviagen to engage with the industry. Brazil is the world's second-largest poultry producer, making this event crucial for ongoing discussions about the future of poultry farming in Latin America.

Aviagen Latin America President Ivan Pupo Lauandos emphasized the company’s significant presence at the event, which attracted customers from across the region, including Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Colombia and other countries.
“Aviagen is committed to ‘Breeding Success Together’ with our Latin American customers, helping them achieve the best results with their birds and operations,” said Lauandos. “SIAVS took place at a promising time for poultry farming, a sector that continues to thrive. Our strategy is to maintain our high level of investment to support the industry and enhance our customers' success.”
Lauandos also highlighted the company's investments in securing the supply of Ross® 308 AP grandparents and breeders to meet the demands of a rapidly growing market for chicken meat. “Ross birds are a top choice for producers in Latin America due to their outstanding feed efficiency, growth rate, and viability,” he added.
