Emilio Cura Speaking at Minas Gerais Poultry SymposiumCAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen® Latin America continues to put into practice its commitment to “Breeding Success Together” with industry colleagues. The recent Minas Gerais Poultry Symposium, held on June 20 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, provided an excellent platform for knowledge exchange aimed at enhancing the success of Latin American poultry. This event was organized by the Minas Gerais Poultry Farmers' Association (Avimig) and the Minas Gerais State Poultry Products Industry Union (Sinpamig), with support from the Minas Gerais State Federation of Manufacturers (FIEMG).

Key highlight – Nutrition expertise
Aviagen's Nutrition Specialist, Emílio Cura, showcased his deep expertise in “Breeder Nutrition.” He emphasized the critical role of effective broiler breeder management in maximizing genetic potential. “Proper feeding and nutrition are vital during the rearing and post-peak phases. Adjustments in the nutritional profile are necessary to correctly manage body weight gain and stimulate fat reserves, while promoting excellent feathering, which, in turn, maximizes egg and chick production. These adjustments are aimed at energy values for each phase, as well as strict control of lysine and other amino acids and nutrients.

Emilio Cura at Minas Gerais Poultry Symposium“Aviagen is dedicated to close collaboration with the industry and the exchange of ideas to foster growth. Events like the Minas Gerais Poultry Symposium are crucial for Aviagen, providing a platform for sharing knowledge, discussing innovations, and improving the genetic potential, welfare, sustainability, and performance of poultry. These meetings enable us to continue offering cutting-edge solutions to our customers," added Luiz Mansano, Aviagen's Commercial Manager in Brazil.
